Frankie Avalon - I was at Bradley University in 1958 when my girlfriend, Carol, found out that Frankie was in Peoria, Illinois. We got real lucky when we discovered him leaving in his limo from a theatre where he had been performing. Carol ordered me to take chase, and I managed to follow him to a motel where I guess he was staying. He quickly went inside and by the time I had parked my car and we ran to follow him, we literally ran into him as he came out again from around a blind corner. What an embarrasment! Carol quickly asked for an autograph but he looked really perturbed. He did finally give in to her wishes though. I did get a lot of points with Carol for that one though!
