Victor Buono - I was in Rome in 1970 (I was a teenager) and Mr. Buono was staying in our hotel. I recognized him as a "sort of" familiar face and got his autograph. He asked where I was from and we had a nice chat about Southern California as we were both natives. He was so warm and pleasant that I tried to catch all his TV and movie performances after that. I always watched his appearances on Johnny Carson, though I wasn't a regular Carson viewer. I was very sad when he died. A great talent and a life cut short.
