Noel Neill - Three years ago my husband and I were on holiday in the USA. We were traveling home and next to us on the plane was this elderly lady, whom I couldn't help but look at because she looked so beautiful with a definite air about her. A gentleman asked me if I knew who she was and I said no. He then told me she was the first Lois Lane in the 1950s series of "Adventures of Superman" and they had just atteneded a Superman convention. She then spoke to my husband and asked where we were from. After he said SCOTLAND she told us she was thrilled to meet a SCOT. She asked for our address and said she would send us her book on her life. I thanked her and we parted. I never thought any more of it until three weeks later through the post came the booked signed by her and a lovely letter. How kind was that and we were thrilled that she had bothered.
