Ozzy Osbourne - An Army pal of mine was a roadie for a while working with Showco. He came to Detroit in September 1978 working on the Van Halen and Black Sabbath tour. My friend "Hudge" got me four backstage passes. Prior to the concert, Hudge took us backstage to see how things worked. While we were backstage, I had to visit the restroom. Much to my surprise, in walks Ozzy. He saw me and said, "Hello, mate" and proceeded to answer nature's call. Not the most glamorous of stories, but the closest I've come to a major rock star.
