Sam Moore - I went to an oldies concert in Cleveland with a reporter friend of mine around 1995 and got to go backstage and meet Sam Moore of Sam and Dave fame. I told him it was an honor to meet him and he kind of shrugged it off and made some remark that it must be like meeting Elvis. Pretty arrogant for a has-been, I thought later. Then he went into a long story about a TV show -- "Hanging With Mr. Cooper" I think -- that had stolen his music for its theme song and he was going to sue. Oh, well. I still like his music even though a little bit of Sam was Moore than I could take (hee).
