Andy Warhol - Sometime around 1980 when people still used typewriters, I was bringing a typewriter to be fixed in a commercial building in NYC. I got on the elevator and standing there was Andy Warhol. I was too intimidated to say anything so I spent the trip up in the elevator looking at the floor. When I got back on to go back to the street, he was there again. I guess I looked surprised because he said, "My studio is in the basement of this building in case you are wondering why I'm in here so much." I just laughed nervously and probably turned beet red.
