Beulah Bondi - When I was in my early 20's, a friend and I would always walk to Hollywood and Vine and have a cup of coffee at a Walgreen's that was there--long gone! As we were walking home, when we crossed the street, a lady was sitting alone in her Mercedes in the middle of the intersection with a stalled car. My friend and I gave her a push out of the interstion--she thanked us most gratefully. I did a double-take looking at her--it was Beulah Bondi! I'm an old film fan, and every time that I now she her in an old film--and she was is many!--I think of meeting her. She was just a really nice, completely honest, sweet lady!
