Conway Twitty - In 1958 I was in high school in Sanford, Fla. and the school used to host rock n' roll concerts in the gym after school. Seems like at the time Conway had not yet really crossed over to country and he was doing a concert that afternoon. Our pastor knew Conway from their youth so he came to the concert and arranged for me to meet Conway back stage. He was so gracious and interested in me personally and I really enjoyed my visit with him. Our Pastor, Rev. Don Gravenmier, kinda enjoyed the visit about as much as I did. I will never forget it!
