Ken Stabler - I had walked into a sports bar in Birmingham, Alabama, had sat down at the bar and looked around and, lo and behold there sat Ken Stabler...famous quarterback. I asked him if he was gonna be there for a few minutes so I could run home and get my framed photo of him as a QB for the Alabama Crimson Tide...as I lived nearby. He said he would wait and when I came back he had joined some acquaintences in a booth. When he saw me he waved for me to come over and he stopped his conversation he was having and pulled out a Flair pen and autographed the photo after asking me how I wanted it made out. He chatted about the photo and the opponent they were playing when it was made. "Snake" is truly a down-to-earth big name. I'll never forget his friendly manner to a fan.
